Not what I expected
When we purchased the tickets, we expected a professional ballet company under the name "Twin Cities Ballet" and were surprised that Ticketmaster even sold tickets for this event. My wife was taken aback by the Mayor of Burnsville proclaiming it a "world premiere" event. Is Burnsville, Minnesota truly a global center for the Arts that we were unaware of, and are they planning to travel worldwide?
For their experience level, the cast of high-schoolers and younger did great, but it's not the kind of professional ballet company we anticipated. I don't want to diminish the kids' efforts, but at $40 per ticket through Ticketmaster, there's a reasonable expectation of seeing professionals. This was good, but definitely did not live up to the hype.
